This was my first time using bags instead of the "syringe" and it was overall a successful experience. These bags aren't very deep, so you can't add a lot of frosting but that could be the same across the board, I'm not certain. Very easy to use and makes clean up a breeze.

Theses are the 12-inch disposable pastry bags, so it's a little weird that Amazon asks if they are easy to clean. That's a little besides the point. Remember when buying this produce that they are 12-inch, so they are small for a pastry bag. You will need them for small icing things and other things where you use small volumes. I will buy them again when I have used up all 100.

I am new to cake baking and decorating, I have always kept these bag and a few tips around for piping things like deviled eggs and twice baked potatoes. Some times I will also pipe sour cream depending on the dish. I like to pipe the mashed potatoes on to my shepherds pies. The Wilton bags work for me in all of the applications, very strong and reasonably priced when bought in bulk. Never had a blow out even when piping hot mashed potatoes.

I love how these are disposable and I do not use an added tip. I just cut the end of the bag really small. I use bag clips from Ikea to secure the bag closed and as the frosting gets used I just move the bag clip down. This makes is super easy to pipe with one hand while holding the cookie with the other. I'll never go back to using knives to spread frosting on a cookie!

BOTTOM LINE
I like that I can buy a hundred of these in a pack, and never worry about running out. The bags seem well made and are usable, but I wish they were wider at the top, so I can fill them more easily.

DURABILITY
I think the bags themselves, are made of a good, medium-thick material that means they won't rip or stretch easily when used with tips or with frosting with solids in it.

DISPOSABLE-NESS (because "DISPOSABILITY" is not a word)
Nothing makes clean up easier, than simply throwing these things out.

PRICE
The price is simply GREAT. Regular decorating bags, or smaller packs, can be so expensive. I think of this as an investment, and, since I don't decorate professionally, I am happy to just have this pack around always.

SIZE
I think the length of the bags is fine. However, I wish they were wider, and easier to fill with frosting. I find it hard to fill by myself, but maybe I just need more practice.

These are my favorite decorating bags. I purchased these to teach middle and high school students cake decorating techniques and they stood up to the job. The bags hold a lot of icing and they don't easily tear, allowing them to last through our two hour decorating session. I do wish there was a way to seal the bags at the top (we used rubber bands) because new decorators have a difficult time squeezing the icing down and sometimes the icing pops out the top. Other than this, these bags are wonderful!

Not happy with the purchase as the box came completely damaged and the pipping bags are meant to be stored in it, I also felt like the pipping bags were too small to frost a cake, probably fine for small things like icing cookies though. Wouldn't buy this item again or recommend it.
